Pikachu attack the horn!

Today was a good day. Not for any particular reason, it just didn't suck. That qualifies as a good day in my book.

Also I had the first peanut butter sandwich since I got here. So great.

My room is about 95% clean now. Vaccuumed, the sheets are washed (still drying... covertly since we're not supposed to use the dryers after midnight) and I've thrown out the majority of the garbage. Now all I need to do is start going through all my stuff to see what I need to keep and what I can get rid of. Figure I should start getting prepared to send some stuff back home ahead of time. Mostly my winter clothes, books, and toys that I've amassed since I got here.

Blech. I don't think I cleaned my mug enough and I swallowed some dish soap.... god it's bubbly....

Where was I? Right, coming home. I need to get on the whole buying tickest thing. I already looked up prices, and I'd have to leave a few days earlier than I intended to get the cheapest flight. Which would be like, a day or two after exams end. So that's sort of rushing things... This is irritating and I'm not looking forward to it.

On a lighter note, I finally got around to e-mailing Toshinori-san. He's the guy who helped me out on the ferry. I've been meaning to contact him, but I just really don't feel my Japanese is good enough to be writing letters to people. I decided to stop pussying out and I sat down and wrote a short letter, thanked him for the food and the conversation, apologized for taking so long, mentioned that I'm doing well in school and that I hope that he and his family are doing well. Hopefully my letter is understandable and he's not upset that I took too long to write (even though he's Japanese so if he were upset I'd never find out).

Bleh, this tea is soapy.

I want to go downtown tomorrow, but I don't particularly have a reason to. If anyone has a suggestion that can excuse me to go down, by all means let me know, I'd love to hear it.

IN the mean time, I'm gonna keep eating crackers and soapy tea. Nom.
