Mmmm Donuts

Or as they call them in Japan, donuts. (well, donatsu, but it's really just the closest they can come to pronouncing it).

So I went into town today two hours later than I planned. In the rain. By myself. All to try and look for a special edition PSP Final Fantasy Dissidia Bundle set.

Which I did not find. Bawwww.

Was still fun. Wandered around the city, found out that the buses don't come as frequently in bad weather...for some reason. Which made me eat at a McDonald's that was actually pretty good..... Long story short didn't really find anything that I wanted, but I got to go grocery shopping which was a definite plus cause I needed that pretty badly.

Tacos this week because I keep forgetting to write down the ingredients I need to make OTHER things.

I did come across this Wonder Ball type snack, which I thought was a toy. You know wonder balls? "Yummy Nestle chocolate with candy shapes inside. Who knows what surprises a wonder ball can hide." Basically that, except instead of crappy medicine flavoured candy inside, they have actual toys. Super Mario Brothers toys. Pretty good quality too. I got a Luigi that has him jumping in the air with his hat off and came with a stand and everything. Also the chocolate tasted like malted milk balls, and if that's not awesome to you then you need to rethink your priorities.

Also I played some arcade games waiting for the bus which were a lot of fun. Some Gundam game that had complicating controls. But I managed to master the art of the crane game. They have these little rings or strips on the products here that I guess you're supposed to "aim" for, but they pretty much never actually grip those no matter how many times you get a hold of it. So you need to direct the crane nearby so that the claw touches the product, closes, and either knocks the product over or drags it closer to the prize hole (in this case, not your mom).

Anyways, I won some free delicious snacks on my first try which was offset by spending 400 yen on various other harder prize games.

I know I promised actual content today but the internet is working uncharacteristically slow. And considering it's normally slow, that's pretty slow. So I can't upload anything.

Boo hoo.
